Registration FAQ

How do I register for a RowAmerica Program?

All registration must be done online by clicking on the appropriate program under the REGISTER tab and following the instructions. Registration is managed by RegattaCentral, a third party vendor. To complete your registration, you will need to establish a RegattaCentral username and password, which you can use to retrieve payment information and order history. This ID will also enable RegattaCentral to provide you with email receipts of all transactions, and you may use this ID for future program registration. You will not be charged an additional transaction fee when paying by credit card.

What payment methods are accepted?

RegattaCentral accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and PayPal. We do not accept check or cash payments for transactions. All payments and a completed registration are required before the first day of programming.

Do you have a refund policy?

RowAmerica does not offer refunds for programming cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. RowAmerica will not refund participant fees for withdrawal from programs except in the case of serious medical conditions or injury that have been confirmed in writing by a physician. If a refund is warranted, a check will be issued in the name of the RegattaCentral account holder. Any refund granted will be assessed a $75.00 processing fee.

ENROLLMENT CHANGES: RowAmerica will honor, on a case-by-case basis, requests for enrollment changes that occur mid-season. Account holders will be assessed a $75.00 processing fee for each change in addition to any net payments due for programming. A prorated program must be approved by the Director of Rowing, and a $75.00 processing fee will be assessed.

Participants will be responsible for all additional bank charges incurred by RowAmerica for items such as bounced checks due to insufficient funds, International transaction fees, chargeback disputes, etc.

The program I am registering for is full. What should I do?

Many of our programs are extremely popular and fill up quickly! Registration for the coming season is posted 1-2months in advance of the starting date. Some programs will offer a waitlist option on RegattaCentral. If this is the case, please register on the waitlist and you will be contacted when a space becomes available. If no waitlist is offered, please contact the Club Director.

Is there an adult annual membership?

Every adult involved in programming has a membership that season and can access the boathouse outside of practices. If you are interested in utilizing the facility and equipment and not joining a coached program, you can register for the Adult Seasonal Membership. This gives you access to indoor equipment and club boats for those who complete a proficiency test and review all USRowing and RowAmerica Hamilton safety procedures.

If an athlete wants to row but can’t afford the programming is there anyway they can still be involved?

If it is your first year rowing with a youth program or you are eligible for government benefits (SSI, SSDI or free/reduced cost lunches) you are able to apply for financial assistance towards programming. If awarded a scholarship, athletes donate volunteer time equal to the amount of the scholarship received. $25 = 1 hour of volunteer time. To apply for a scholarship for programming, download and review our Scholarship Application. Contact the Director, Joy Nix, if you have any questions at [email protected].
