Alex started his rowing career at Rye High School where he competed for Rye at the Head of the Charles and Youth Nationals before going onto Ithaca College. He spent a summer rowing for Vesper Boat Club on the lightweight team where he competed at U23 Trials and other summer regattas.
Alex graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2019 where he continued his rowing career competing around the U.K. and Europe. He came 3rd in both the 8+ and 4+ at the British University Championships and has competed at Henley Royal Regatta.
Alex has come back to Rye to help build on the success of RowAmerica Rye!

We’ve seen first-hand the positive transformation it’s had on thousands of young individuals and our goal is to amplify that impact. RowAmerica owns and operates RowAmerica BoatClubs nationally, manufactures and provides boats for sale and lease under the Wintech Racing and King Racing brands, and repairs and services boats of any make and model at its RowAmerica Boat Repair facility.
